The project comprised the historic reconstruction of the Nineteenth-Century Fire Watchtower in Marcus Garvey Park, NY.  By pioneering the use of iron framing for construction, this tower might be thought of as a precursor of skyscraper design.

It was declared a New York City Landmark in 1967, and placed on the National Register of Historic Places. As the sole surviving fire watchtower in New York City, it stands at its original site at 122nd Street in Marcus Garvey Park in Manhattan.

Our project for the historic reconstruction included documentation, dismantling, off-site refurbishing or replacement of missing or damaged parts, site preparation and reconstruction at the original location.
